CONCEPT-COORDINATION

Directorate of Archaeological Museums, Exhibitions and Educational Programmes 
Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports

The Directorate of Archaeological Museums, Exhibitions and Educational Programmes (DAMEEP), a central Service of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports, oversees all public archaeological museums and collections in the country with respect to their management and operation. Its main objectives are the dissemination of the latest museological trends and their practical application, the promotion and supervision of temporary archaeological exhibitions in Greece and abroad, as well as the design and implementation of educational programmes and other communication activities in the archaeological sites and the museums all around Greece.
